MSB's CAREER DEVELOPMENT people are great! They are available for advice. Be sure you have your "act" together. Be on time and courteous. Be sure to give respect and say "thanks" to everyone you deal with. Start working on your Resume, and audio portfolio now. Cover letters & resumes need to be professional, or they will be tossed out. If you could use some help writing.. get it.

MY ADVICE: Pay for high speed internet at home. A cable broadband modem is $ 45/month, but worth every penny if you are serious about researching your field and career. Get a good email account & check it everyday. Surf the web often, looking for music/career/audio sites.

Start thinking about a web site address, too. A web site is the best & cheapest promo there is - $ 100 / year! See if YOUR business name is available at Omnis.com. Omnis will host a web site for $6.95/month. Buy your favorite ".com" name for only $ 15. There are web designers right down the hall (Web Design students) who can help you.
